We started brewing kombucha at home, just the two of us, and look at how we have grown!

The entire Rudy’s Family consists of 15 members, located in Latvia, the Netherlands, Estonia, and even Hong Kong. Our total production area is 1000 square meters.

We have created an innovative product that has repeatedly won international awards. Our growth over the past 5 years has been organic and independent, thanks to you – the fans of Rudy’s.

Our values

Rudy’s Brewing Co. is an independent kombucha brewery located in Kuldīga, founded by a couple and their dog Rudy in 2019.

We moved here from to Latvia, driven by our dream and ambition to start our own kombucha business in Europe. While we experimented at home with a 10-liter bucket in the hallway, we could never have imagined how everything would change in just a year. We created a brand named after our beloved dachshund Rudy, who became famous in Latvia and beyond. This inspires us even more to develop new ideas and conscious products that do not yet exist.

Onze ervaring met het fermentatieproces en zorgvuldige benadering van receptontwikkeling heeft ons geholpen om producten van superieure kwaliteit te creëren, met rijke en gedurfde smaken die zich onderscheiden van alles wat er vandaag de dag op de markt is. Fermentatie is een geweldig proces dat gewone voedingsmiddelen smaken en aroma’s kan geven die verder gaan dan de verbeelding. Hoewel fermentatie al duizenden jaren bekend is, maken ervaring en technologie het nu mogelijk om een product te maken dat alle voordelen van vitamines en probiotica biedt.

We produce what we enjoy ourselves. That’s why we use only organic ingredients, free from flavorings and flavor enhancers, when making kombucha. We press fruits such as berries ourselves and use only fresh basil and mint leaves, grown by a farmer from Kuldīga. Since we became fans of our own product, we realized this is the only way to achieve a high-quality and beneficial product. We do not use mass production techniques or sales gimmicks. Our goal is a pure product.

We do not pasteurize or add preservatives because we want to deliver all vitamins and probiotics to our customers. That is why we package kombucha in aluminum cans, which protect it from light and oxygen, extend shelf life, and preserve nature.

It is sugar-free kombucha. But we don’t call it sugar-free. Its no added sugar. As low and natural it can be.

We have taken it a step further and created an innovative product with less than 15 calories per 100 ml. After a year of experimentation, the result is sugar-free kombucha.

This sugar-free kombucha can be stored without refrigeration for a year without risk.

The answer is simple – we love our planet. A can as packaging is fully recyclable. It takes much less heat and energy to recycle a can than a glass bottle, which means that less CO2 is emitted into our atmosphere. An empty can weighs 11 grams, while a bottle weighs 250 grams. A standard pallet can transport 7,200 cans and a total of 3,500 bottles. The aluminum can is the ultimate packaging for a future that has already arrived.

We are the first kombucha producer in Europe striving for climate neutrality. We have reduced our CO2 emissions to nearly zero and only use natural carbonation from kombucha. We plant trees to make our planet cleaner for ourselves and our children.

Who says that charity is only affordable for large companies? We have decided to donate a few cents for each can to the clinic and the animal shelter, because each of us can help those in need.

This is how kombucha should be.
